‘The Mighty Boosh’ introduced Vince Noire and Howard Moon, two zookeepers unhappy with their lot, who work for their disturbingly-odd manager, Bob Fossil. The show debuted at the ‘Oranje Boom Boom Caberet’ club at ‘De Hems’ pub in Soho, London, and over the weeks Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt developed their routine and introduced other comedy acts within the show. Noel, Julian and Rich then took the production to the Edinburgh Festival, where they won the Perrier Award for ‘Best Newcomer’.
Noel Fielding (Vince Noir), Julian Barratt (Howard Moon), with guest appearances by Shelagh Martin, Rich Fulcher, Dean Lerner, Matt Berry, Rolly Moe, Lee Mack, Catherine Tate, Dan Antopolski and Universal Grinding Wheel, plus Mike Fielding and his friend Pete Kyriacou
