The Mighty Boosh Cast

The planet Xooberon, 1978: the king entrusts his greatest warrior with a dangerous mission to keep his sacred amulet from his enemies by taking it to Earth. But once his charge has departed, the king realises he has cocked up: he has entrusted his amulet not to his warrior Banoo, but to the shaman Naboo… Years later: upset at being continually mistaken for Vince’s dad, Howard is intrigued to learn from Bollo that the youthful-looking Naboo is actually four-hundred-and-six, thanks to a magic amulet that gives him access to the legendary Fountain of Youth. Howard and Vince immediately steal the shaman’s magic amulet, and transport themselves to the Desert of Nightmares. Making their way through the arid wastes, they soon encounter a tribe of rebels led by a midget Blue King; seeing Vince holding the amulet, the Blue King proclaims him as the Chosen One and provides him with a life of luxury – with Howard as his slave. Meanwhile, the evil Hitcher learns of the amulet and vows to steal it, planning to use the Fountain of Youth to create an army of evil Cockneys that will destroy the universe. Now mad with power, Vince faces his first test as the Chosen One: defeating Sandstorm, a creature made of sandpaper; faced with being chafed to death, Vince gives Sandstorm his gloves, allowing the lonely beast to love himself at last. As Vince celebrates his success, Howard meets a slave girl who talks him into giving her the amulet; unfortunately, Howard discovers too late that the girl is the Hitcher in disguise, and he is rendered unconscious as the Cockney makes his escape. When Howard comes to, he finds himself and Vince buried up to their necks in sand by the Blue rebels, sentenced to a horrific death under the blazing hot desert sun…
