Breaking into the Knight Museum of Technology, two petty criminals inadvertently reactivate K.A.R.R., the Knight Automated Roving Robot – an artificial intelligence rivalling that of K.I.T.T., installed in an equally powerful vehicle. After the crooks drive off in their newly-found accomplice, Michael and K.I.T.T. are assigned the mission of tracking down and immobilising the renegade vehicle; however, K.A.R.R.’s programming for self-preservation overrides its orders to protect human life, and it will stop and nothing to prevent its deactivation...
