With Amy’s birthday looming, Kif decides to buy her tickets to teen pop sensation Coco Charm’s new Revolution tour. But after negotiating the complicated Ticketmistress booking process, Kif finds that even the cheapest tickets will cost him his entire savings, so he guiltily steals money from his rich wife’s purse to purchase her gift. Unbeknownst to Kif, Amy also buys tickets - the most expensive ones available. When Kif gives Amy her present, she is touched by his generosity and gives her VIP tickets to Fry and Leela. At the concert, Kif and Amy sit waaaaay at the back, while Fry and Leela sit on the actual stage at Madison Cube Garden (although Leela prefers to listen to an audiobook). However, Coco has cracked the code of music, creating songs capable of manipulating her listeners’ emotions; her encore takes over the minds of her audience, turning them into an army to take over the world. Protected by her headphones, Leela escapes with a brainwashed Fry, and returns to Planet Express while Coco flies the stadium into a battle with Captain Zapp Branigan’s spaceship. Professor Farnsworth creates a countermelody to neutralise Coco’s mesmerising tunes, but when he and the Planet Express gang attempt to fire it at the stadium’s Bluetooth receiver, Fry’s brainwashed dancing causes the ship to fly off course. With Doctor Zoidburg’s help, the professor surgically removes Charm’s catchy tune from the affected parts of Fry’s brain. Meanwhile, Coco and her ‘Charmy’ accept the Head of President Nixon’s surrender, then disposes of Earth’s entire weapons supply. But Coco’s misguided attempt at peace just leaves Earth defenceless - and the planet is immediately conquered by opportunistic aliens from Omicron Persei 8…
