'Bender Gets Made' (a.k.a. ‘Bendfellas’) by Eric Horsted

SIMULCAST ON CRAZY PEOPLE'S FILLINGS

When the ‘Planet Express’ crew joins the audience of a cooking show, Bender gets to meet his hero, robot chef Elzar. Unfortunately, the star-struck Bender only succeeds in making a complete fool of himself, temporarily blinding Leela in the process. As recompense, Elzar cooks them a fabulous meal in his restaurant – and then hands them the exorbitant bill. Unable to pay, Bender volunteers to work off the debt to Elzar; he then encounters the Robot Mafia, and, realising that crime really does pay, promptly joins their organisation. To test Bender’s loyalty his new boss instructs him to steal a shipment of Zuban cigars – from his former colleagues at ‘Planet Express’…
