An ancient videotape from the Twentieth Century is discovered, which features the testimony of Buck’s best friend, Major Jim Peterson of N.O.R.A.D., given just minutes before the launch of the final nuclear attack that almost destroyed the Earth - and according to the information on the recording, Buck was the person responsible for the holocaust. Commissioner Bergstrom immediately calls for a trial against Buck, with the penalty of death if he is found guilty of war crimes. In a desperate attempt to clear his name, Buck agrees to be places under the Optical Engram Imager mind probe - but when it replays his memories, they only seem to confirm his guilt…
