'Terminal Rock' by John Groves

At the ‘Scorched Earth’ nightclub, the music of angry rock band ‘Scavenger’s incites their audience to violence; as the angry mob spills out on the street they attack a passing car, which happens to be occupied by Ardix and an associate; the two Morthren manage to escape with their lives and return to their base, where their experience gives Mana an idea: by planting a neural trigger inside music tracks, the aliens can turn mankind’s hate and rage against them, providing the invaders with an army under their command. Returning to the ‘Scorched Earth’, the Morthren kidnap the group’s lead singer, Ripper’, and use him to create an evil clone. Meanwhile, Kincaid decides to take a break from Harrison, Suzanne and Debi, seeking out the company of a former girlfriend, Rose. However, Rose’s young brother, Larry, is involved with the ‘Scavengers’, and soon falls under the aliens’ influence. Kincaid turns to Harrison and Suzanne for help – but they have their own problems, as Debi has also been affected by the alien music, and turns on her own mother…
