War of the Worlds Cast

Almost Tomorrow: the world is in chaos, civilisation has descended into anarchy. With no alien activity for several months, military backing for the Blackwood Project is under review – but then Norton suddenly detects a new signal of extraterrestrial origin… Elsewhere, a new race of aliens, the Morthren, have arrived on Earth; following the destruction of their homeworld these creatures have decided that Earth will become their new home, and have taken on human form using a process that immunises them against Earth’s bacteria. Their leader, the Eternal Spirit of Morthrai, instructs the Morthren leader, Malzor, to purify the planet, starting with the execution of the previous wave of alien soldiers that failed in their mission to invade Earth. Called to a meeting with General Wilson, Lieutenant Colonel Ironhorse is ambushed by aliens disguised as U.S. soldiers; he is saved by the intervention of John Kincaid, an ex-soldier on his own crusade to expose the alien menace that has infiltrated the military. When Norton pinpoints the alien base to a disused factory, Ironhorse sets off to investigate, only to be captured by the Morthren; the aliens use the Lieutenant Colonel to create an evil duplicate, which they despatch on a mission to destroy the Blackwood Project. Gaining access to the Cottage, the evil Ironhorse murders Norton and then sets explosives around the building, intending to blow it up while Suzanne and Debi are still inside…
