'The Deadliest Disease' by Carl Binder Story by Wilson Coneybeare

Posing as ‘Mr Malcolm’, Mazor strikes a deal with Colonel West to exchange the aliens’ hyperdrive technology for a governmental prototype med-cell, needed to stop the spread of a deadly virus now infecting the Morthren and their bio systems. However, before the trade can be made the med-cell is stolen by a disgruntled government employee, and it soon ends up in the possession of a black marketer, who plans to sell it in a private auction. With Mena sick and the rest of the Morthren invasion force ill and dying, the desperate aliens clone the owner of a private firm, Brock Security, and send him to track down the missing cell. Acting on behalf of the government, Colonel West locates the Blackwood Project and asks for their assistance in recovering the cell. Reluctantly agreeing to help, Harrison attempts to inveigle himself into the auction, while Kincaid gets a job on Brock’s security team. Meanwhile, the other black market gang leaders learn of the importance of the med-cell – and soon war breaks out for its possession…
