Posing as record company executives, a trio of aliens murder electric-rock musician Billy Carlos and then remix the master recording of his new album, embedding it with subliminal messages. Some time later, Harrison and Suzanne visit Doctor Eric Von Deer, who has promised to share his cellular research with the Blackwood project. Von Deer is a good friend and fan of Billy Carlos, and has an advance copy of the star’s new album, so when Harrison becomes enthralled by the music, the doctor happily gives him a copy. Leaving Suzanne to work with Von Deer, Harrison returns to the Cottage; the music soon begins casting a sinister influence over him, and it isn’t long before Harrison shocks his colleagues by announcing that mankind is to blame for the war with the aliens, who are in fact their friends. Meanwhile, Von Deer receives a visit from the three aliens; it seems that they are using Carlos’ music to brainwash the doctor into creating a vaccine to counteract the effects of Earth’s bacteria – which will enable them to finally bring “peace” to the planet…
