Doctor Jacoby tells Agent Cooper that he suspects Leo Johnson of killing Laura. Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole contacts Agent Cooper regarding Agent Rosenfield’s report. Josie Packard overhears Ben Horne and Catherine Martell conspiring against her. Deputy Hawk tracks down the One-Armed Man. Agent Cooper learns of Sarah Palmer’s vision of her daughter’s murderer, and discovers that the bird that attacked Laura belonged to Jacques Renault. Norma Jennings attends the parole board for her husband, Hank, who later makes a threatening phone call to Josie. Audrey Horne decides to start her own investigation into Laura’s death.
