Thunderbirds Are Go Cast

With the Mechanic’s remote-controlled craft escaping with the stolen TV-21, Scott gives chase in Thunderbird 1; he tries grappling the ship to slow it with TB1’s engines, but the TV-21’s booster is far more powerful – the line snaps and Thunderbird 1 is sent into an uncontrolled spin. With some help from Grandma, Scott manages to regain control of his plane, and he reluctantly returns to base. At Tracy Island, Kayo traces the source of the signal that infiltrated International Rescue’s comms system, pinpointing it to a location in the Scottish Highlands; as Kayo flies off in Thunderbird Shadow to investigate, a worried Grandma contacts Lady Penelope for help... Scott returns to Tracy Island, where Brains and Max are working with Gordon and Virgil to repair the shattered Thunderbird 4. John advises that the Mechanic’s craft has now stopped over the GDF’s vault, which contains the world’s supply of iridium; most of the personnel have been evacuated, except for one, who refuses to desert his post: Ned Tedford (plus his plant Gladys). When the Mechanic uses his remote-controlled craft to steal the vault and fly off into space, the GDF’s Colonel Casey turns to International Rescue for help. Scott and Alan blast off in Thunderbird 3, which Brains and Max have modified with a robot to help fight the Mechanic. Leaving Earth’s atmosphere, Thunderbird 3 swiftly closes in on the Mechanic’s ship, which deploys several huge robotic arms and then moves in for the attack; however, Alan and Scott activate their own secret weapon: a ‘Maximum Max’, giant robotic arms equipped with a buzzsaw and cutting device that are remotely-controlled by Max himself. As the two ships lock arms in battle, Scott takes an EVA pod across to the vault; but when he cuts his way in to rescue Ned, the hapless worker refuses to leave the iridium. Meanwhile, FAB 1 arrives in Scotland and rendezvous with Thunderbird Shadow. Kayo, Lady Penelope and Parker make their way to a remote stone tower, the source of the Mechanic’s signal; after Parker picks the lock, Penelope uses an energy shield to get them through the building’s defences, with a little help from Parker’s crowbar, Alice. Back in space, Alan cuts the vault free with Thunderbird 3’s new buzzsaw, enabling Scott to tow it back to the ship. But then the Mechanic overloads the TV-21’s fusion reactor, sending it into a meltdown; the villain then sends his craft hurtling towards Thunderbird 3, intending to destroy both ships in a massive explosion…
