The <I>International Rescue</I> team find themselves overloaded with global distress calls, all deliberately caused by the Hood’s new gang of villains, the Chaos Crew. While rescuing workers trapped atop a sabotaged construction crane, Scott is surprised to receive help from a rescue operations robot, sent by Colonel Casey of the Global Defence Force. While Brains and the Tracy boys agree to help field test the new ‘RO-Bot’, Kayo is assigned to the GDF to work with Captain Wayne Rigby on a mission to track down the Hood and the remaining members of the Chaos Crew still at large: Havoc, and her brother, Fuse. Meanwhile, the Hood despatches Fuse to the Arctic to teach a lesson to the staff of the Polar Explorer Station, who have refused his extortion offer; Fuse causes an avalanche that smashes the base through the ice, sinking it and its trapped crew to the cold ocean floor. As Virgil speeds off in <I>Thunderbird 2</I> with Gordon and <I>Thunderbird 4</I> aboard for the aquatic rescue mission, Kayo and Captain Rigby manage to track down and apprehend Havoc. The villainous woman is taken into custody – the Hood’s plan is going exactly as planned…
