Two crooks posing as members of <I>International Rescue</I> save a man trapped in a well, but the operation is a cover so that they can steal secret papers on the <I>AL4</I> space interceptor missile from the nearby Aeronautical Centre’s underground vault. When the robbery is discovered, General Lambert mounts a worldwide search to track down <I>International Rescue</I>’s secret base and bring them to justice. Their reputation sullied, Jeff Tracy closes down operations, but soon faces a dilemma when an astronaut named Elliot is flung into space, and only <I>Thunderbird 3</I> can save him. It is up to <I>I.R.</I> agent Jeremiah Tuttle to track down the impostors and bring them to justice…
