The worst woman diver ever causes a car crash in the underground parking lot of the newly opened Thompson Tower maxi-mall. A fire breaks out and escalates into a raging inferno which soon consumes the entire building after the sprinkler system fails. Everyone is evacuated from the Tower except for the Carter family, who are trapped by sealed fire doors in an access corridor beneath the Tower. Scott and Virgil mount a rescue attempt using the Mole and Brains’ new cutting equipment - but the apparatus has not been fully-tested, and the two boys may not be able to save the family in time…
