'A Friend in Need' by Ian McCulloch

The Whitecross community comes under siege from a sniper who is targeting attractive young women in the area. Receiving news that so far eight defenceless victims have been killed, Greg and Charles mount a hunt to track down the murder. Just as Jenny is to become the next victim Greg manages to overpower the killer, who is then shot by their own weapon. The members of the community are shocked to discover that the killer was also a woman…
