When a World Navy submarine is mysteriously destroyed, Captain Troy Tempest and Lieutenant George Lee ‘Phones’ Sheridan of the World Aquanaut Security Patrol are sent to investigate in their undersea vessel, Stingray. However, they are soon attacked by an unidentified undersea craft shaped liked a gigantic fish, and its occupants, the fearsome Aquaphibians, take Troy and Phones prisoner; the two crewmen are then taken to the undersea kingdom of Titanica, and brought before its mighty ruler, Titan. Put on trial for crimes against the undersea races, Troy and Phones are found guilty and sentenced to spend the rest of their lives in the undersea prison of Aquatraz…
