Star Trek Cast

As Captain Kirk, Lieutenant Uhura and Ensign Chekov transport down to the surface of a nearby planet, they are intercepted and abducted by another, more powerful transporter beam. On finding themselves on the planet Triskelion, located in the distant M-24 Alpha star system, the trio are immediately attacked by several alien warriors, each from a different species. The Starfleet officers learn that they have been brought to Triskelion by the ‘Providers’; disembodied entities who wish them to fight as gladiators in games of combat for their entertainment. The gladiators, or ‘drill thralls’, must wear special collars which asphyxiate any who disobey the Providers. Meanwhile, aboard the Enterprise, Lieutenant Commander Spock attempts to locate his missing colleagues, and eventually manages to track the transporter beam back to its source. But when the starship arrives at Triskelion, the crew are captured by the Providers. With his ship and crew at stake, Kirk decides to offer the Providers a final, irresistible wager: he will face three drill thralls in the arena on the condition that if he wins, all the drill thralls will be freed and taught how to live for themselves once more; but if he fails, Kirk and his crew will become the most entertaining fighters the Providers have ever seen…
