Later, Beverly pays a visit to her son Wesley, currently in engineering working on a warp bubble experiment. Curiously, as Beverly looks on, she sees a strange flash of light; not long after, she finds herself unable to find Doctor Quaice, and becomes increasingly concerned when the Enterprise computer reports no record of his arrival, Captain Picard, Lieutenant Worf and Transporter Chief O'Brien deny all knowledge of the doctor's presence on the ship, and even Starfleet fails to find a record of his existence. More people begin to mysteriously vanish: firstly Beverly's entire medical staff, then Counselor Troi; bizarrely, none of the remaining crew seem bothered by the disappearances, and have no recollection of those now missing. When Lieutenant Commander Data insists that no crew members are missing, Beverly asks him how many people are aboard; his reply of one-hundred-fourteen send the doctor into a panic - there should be well over a thousand. Beverly realises that unless she can discover the reason behind the disappearances, she may soon be the last person alive on the ship&

Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean-Luc Picard), Jonathan Frakes (Commander William Thomas Riker), LeVar Burton (Chief Engineer Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge), Michael Dorn (Security Chief Lieutenant Worf), Gates McFadden (Doctor Beverly Crusher), Marina Sirtis (Councelor Deanna Troi), Brent Spiner (Lieutenant Commander Data), Wil Wheaton (Ensign Wesley Crusher), Eric Menyuk (Traveller), Bill Erwin (Commander Dalen Quaice, M.D.), Colm Meaney (Transporter Chief Miles O Brien)

Directed by Cliff Bole
Produced by David Livingston and Lee Sheldon
Executive Producers Michael Piller, Rick Berman and Gene Roddenberry

TX:
22nd October, 1990

Notes:
*Featuring Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Commander William Thomas Riker, Chief Engineer Lieutenant Geordi La Forge, Security Chief Lieutenant Worf, Doctor Beverly Crusher, Councelor Deanna Troi, Lieutenant Commander Data, Transporter Chief Miles O Brien and Ensign Wesley Crusher
