Star Trek The Next Generation Cast

As Counselor Troi and Lieutenant Worf leave the Holodeck after a romantic evening, they are interrupted by a frantic Captain Picard, wrapped in a bathrobe and declaring that he is moving back and forth through time. But as he attempts to explain further, the captain finds himself twenty-five years in the future, as an old man working in on his vineyard in France. He receives a visit from Geordi LaForge, now able to see without his VISOR; Geordi explains that Picard is suffering from Irumodic Syndrome, a mental disorder. As the two of them talk, Picard sees a shabbily-dressed man laughing, but he vanishes when Geordi looks round. Picard then finds himself in the past, aboard a shuttlecraft with Lieutenant Tasha Yar as they head for the U.S.S. Enterprise for the very first time… and then back in the present, with a concerned Troi. Doctor Crusher's tests show that Picard never left the ship; she finds no traces of Irumodic Syndrome, but does find a small defect in his parietal lobe that would make him susceptible to that ailment. They are interrupted by a priority message from Admiral Nakamura, who tells Picard that several Romulan Warbirds are heading for the Neutral Zone, towards a spatial anomaly in the Devron system. But then Picard is back in the future, on his vineyard with Geordi; he tries to explain his situation, but Geordi just attributes it to his disease. After seeing more of the strange vagabonds, Picard convinces Geordi to accompany him to Cambridge to meet Professor Data, who now holds the Lucasian Chair of Mathematics at the university; Data is prepared to investigate Picard's claims, but then the captain finds himself in the past, when he first came aboard the Enterprise. Starfleet cancels the ship's mission to Farpoint Station, instructing Picard and the crew to investigate an anomaly in the Devron system; but the captain insists they go to Farpoint anyway, and refuses to explain his decision to his confused crew. He returns to the present, where a scan conducted by Doctor Crusher shows that he has accumulated over two days' worth of memories in just a few minutes…Returning to the future Picard enlists the aid of Geordi and Data to help him reach the Devlon system, to search for the anomaly that he believes is somehow connected with his time-jumping. They approach Admiral Riker, but he is unwilling to help because the Klingons have taken over the Romulan Empire and closed their borders to Federation ships. The trio decide to hitch a lift on a medical ship heading to Romulus to treat a plague, and soon arrive on board the U.S.S. Pasteur, captained by Picard's ex-wife, Beverly Crusher. After Geordi suggests enlisting the help of Worf, now a governor in the Klingon Empire, Picard returns to the past, as the Enterprise heads for Farpoint. But then he is suddenly transported to Q's courtroom, facing a jury of jeering vagrants; Q tells Picard that his time jumping is connected to the trial that he put him through seven years ago, and also to the spatial anomaly in the Neutral Zone. However, while Q is causing Picard's movement through time, it is Picard himself who is responsible for the imminent destruction of humanity…
