Nathan Spring believes that the problem is due to the fact that maintenance engineer Hooper is overworked; Hooper's abrasive attitude led to the resignation of his last assistant, and he has since spent the last three months maintaining the base on his own. After upsetting his new assistant, Hooper then suggests that the faults are due to sabotage; Spring decides to assign David Theroux to keep an eye on Hooper, a decision that neither men are happy with. Meanwhile, Doctor Angela Parr arrives to carry out research into space psychology, and sets about interviewing the station personnel. Pal Kenzy becomes concerned as she has a deep distrust of psychiatrists; Colin Devis attempts to avoid Parr for his own reasons: she is one of his ex-wives...

David Calder (Nathan Spring), Erick Ray Evans (David Theroux), Trevor Cooper (Colin Devis), Linda Newton (Pal Kenzy), Jonathan Adams (Alexander Krivenko), Sayo Inaba (Anna Shoun), Geoffrey Bayldon (Ernest Wolffhart), Maggie Ollerenshaw (Doctor Angela Parr), Barrie Rutter (Hooper), Leigh Funnell (Beverley Anderson)

Directed by Christopher Baker
Produced by Evgeny Gridneff

TX:
24th August, 1987 @ 8.35 pm

Notes:
*Featuring Nathan Spring, David Theroux, Colin Devis, Pal Kenzy, Anna Shoun and Alexander Krivenko
