Thirty years ago, Marty Hopkirk’s father Larry was in the police force; attempting to bring hardened criminal Sidney Crabbe to justice, Larry and his partner, Harry Wallis, tracked the villain to a warehouse, but Sidney decided to jump to his death rather face a life in prison. In revenge, Sidney’s brother Maurice Crabbe subsequently murdered Larry and left a bullet embedded in Maurice’s body… In the present, Marty’s tutoring by his mentor Wyvern concludes, and he is at last allowed to enter Limbo; however, he soon learns that its attractions are not all they are cracked up to be. Meanwhile, the bullet buried inside Wallis has found its way to his heart, and his death is imminent; in remorse he hires Jeff and Jeannie to locate Maurice Crabbe so that he can make amends by giving him his savings. But this act causes Sidney’s spirit to be reawakened – and he seeks out Marty for his revenge…
