A British agent becomes the victim of a beautiful but deadly assassin, killed by an exploding ball whilst playing cricket. The agent sent to replace him must track down the location of the rocket that the mad scientist Doctor Schnipps is threatening to use to destroy London. But the agent’s investigations are hampered by the girl, who is Schnipps’ daughter; she claims to be Death, and also that she is in love with the agent. After avoiding her murderous advances, the agent tracks down Doctor Scnipps, only to discover that he is completely, totally and absolutely insane. But what is his connection to a group of intently-listening children...?
