In disgrace, Perov fakes his own death and then reactivates a twenty-year-old team of sleepers back into service. Each of these deadly double-agents is assigned to assassinate Steed, Purdey and Gambit. After these attacks are thwarted, Steed heads for the safehouse where Vasil is hidden, but he is followed by Perov, who concocted the whole plan just to locate Vasil. A last-minute act of bravery enables Steed to save Vasil s life, while Purdey puts a stop to Perov.

Patrick Macnee (John Steed), Gareth Hunt (Mike Gambit), Joanna Lumley (Purdey), Peter Jeffrey (Perov), Frank Thornton (Roland), Lyndon Brook (Cartney), Derek Francis (The Bishop), Mark Burns (Spence), Geraldine Moffatt (Jo), Annette Andre (Suzy), Ina Skriver )Olga), Murray Brown (David), Gordon Sterne (Vasil), Dan Meaden (Boris), Jeremy Wilkin (Tulliver), Anthony Bailey (Frederick)

Directed by Ray Austin

TX:
LWT - 29th October 1976
Produced by Albert Fennell and Brian Clemens

Notes:
*Featuring John Steed, Mike Gambit and Purdey
