'K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R.' by Richard C. Okie

When beachcomber John Stanton and his girlfriend discover the wreck of K.A.R.R. – the villainous Knight Automated Roving Robot believed to have been destroyed by Michael and K.I.T.T. two years earlier – they inadvertently reactivate its systems. The renegade A.I. immediately manipulates John into helping him wreak revenge on his old adversaries at the Foundation. After obtaining repairs for K.A.R.R.’s damaged workings, he and John mount an attack on the Foundation’s mobile unit and force Bonnie to install a deadly laser into the vehicle. K.A.R.R. then sets a deadly trap for Michael and K.I.T.T., to take care of them once and for all…
