'Storm' by John Kneubuhl

When meteorologist Malcolm Gantley investigates strange reports of a series of hurricanes in Florida that seemingly change direction to avoid a fishing village, he uncovers evidence that leads him to contact David Vincent. However, after confiding to the village priest, Father Joe, that he suspects the hurricanes to be other-worldly in origin, Gantley goes missing. Vincent soon discovers that the hurricanes are being deliberately created and controlled by the alien invaders using a storm maker…
