The Goodies

The Reverend Llewellyn Llewellyn Llewellyn Llewellyn invites the Goodies to an eisteddfod on the remote island of Llan-Dlubber, in Wales. However, when Tim, Bill and Graeme arrive they learn that the Reverend is vicar of the Church of the Seven Day Repentacists, who believe that everything is a sin - including eating, going to the lavatory and other such naughty things - and that the festival is not meant for anyone’s enjoyment. Tim immediately decides to liven up the event, and so the Goodies put on a show of excitement, thrills, music and magic. Unfortunately, their efforts outrage the Reverend, who brands them as devils and sends them to Druid School, where Tim, Bill and Graeme soon find themselves tied up as sacrifices for the Druids’ god: the game of Rugby. By pretending to be Welsh, the trio manage to avoid their fate – only to be drafted into the Druids’ Rugby team and forced to take part in the ‘Ecclesiastical 7-A-Sides’ contest…
