The Goodies

While cycling in the countryside the Goodies meet a suicidal zookeeper attempting unsuccessfully to drown himself in a river. The depressed zookeeper explains that he faces humiliation at the forthcoming royal opening of Lord Snowdon’s new Monster House, because he cannot find any unusual creature to fill it. Seeing a quick way to an O.B.E., Tim volunteers the Goodies’ services to help, and so the trio set off at once for Bonnie Scotland to track down the Loch Ness Monster. Setting up an observation post on the shores of the loch, Graeme, Tim and Bill settle down to wait… and wait… and wait. After several days with no sign of the creature, the Goodies visit the Scottish Tourist Board for help, and meet a Scotsman who is only too happy to sell them a permit and all the monster hunting equipment they could ever need. Tim, Bill and Graeme return to the loch and set a trap for Nessie – but is the creature real, or just a big con..?
