The Goodies

Bill is furious when Tim and Graeme throw him a birthday party, as he doesn’t want to be reminded of how old he is. As ‘Dr Grayboots, Beautician to the Raddled’, Graeme uses his computer to give Bill, Tim and himself a makeover, and then sets them up for a night on the town with three old grannies; unfortunately, after their dates rush them to a pub, a cinema to watch 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre', and then to a disco, the Goodies are so worn out that the grannies dump them in favour of a gang of young bikers. Humiliated, the Goodies close down due to old age: Tim vows to jump out a window, and Graeme creates a suicide doomsday machine; however, just as they are about to end it all, the chaps learn that the Robot has applied to take over from them. When Tim, Graeme and Bill object to their replacement, they decide to compete with the Robot by taking the Goodies Proficiency test, to decide once and for all who is best to carry on in the role…
