The Goodies

Not only are the Goodies running the ‘Nice Person of the Year Award’, but they are also the favourites to win the competition. However, when Tim, Graeme and Bill decide to ensure their victory by taking to the streets to spread a little happiness, they are shocked at being booed by angry people, pelted with rotten fruit, and their trandem stolen. They soon learn that they are the victims of imposters, a trio of duplicate Baddies who are even now riding the Goodies’ stolen trandem and molesting old ladies. With the police inundated with reports of all the other famous nice people in the country behaving horribly too, the Goodies realise that someone is trying to discredit all the competition. Following a gang of bank-robbing nuns back to their secret hideout Tim, Graeme and Bill investigate the cellar, where they come face-to-face with their robot duplicates, and are captured by the mad scientist Doctor Wolfgang Adolphus Ratfink von Petal. Confident that his evil actions will guarantee him the ‘Nice Person of the Year Award’, the villainous Doctor Petal ties up his prisoners and leaves them to face a horrible death by acid and alligator…
