While the ghosts try to decide how to celebrate Halloween, Gudgin oversees the storage of a piano in the main hall. On seeing it, Sir George immediately declares that they hold a musical evening to commemorate the occasion, but when the White Lady settles down to give a rendition of ‘The Rustle of Spring’, the keyboard promptly lid slams down on her fingers; then the spirit of eccentric concert pianist Ludwig Stumpf materialises and declares that no-one is allowed to play his piano. However, the White Lady is able to use her feminine charms to convince Ludwig to give a rendition for them - providing that she and the others perform their party pieces first…
