IF THIS SHOW’S A ROCKIN’, DON’T COME A KNOCKIN’

The Planet Express crew take a day out at the Monstery Bay Aquarium, where Bender bumps into Calculon and his fellow actors from ‘All My Circuits’, and annoys them by taking too many photographs on his old film camera. Bender sells his pictures to gossip publication ‘Us Magazine’ in Hollywood, and gets a job as a paparazzo taking photos of celebrities in compromising situations that he has deliberately set up. When Bender learns of Langdon Cobb, a highly-acclaimed actor whose trademark is to wear a brown paper bag over his head, which has prevented anyone from ever actually seeing what he looks like, he vows to take a picture of the man’s face for all to see. That night, Bender sneaks into Cobb’s mansion and manages to take a snap of the actor minus his bag; Langdon begs him not to release the photo, but Bender ignores his pleas – but when he shows Fry, Amy and Hermes the picture it drains their life forces, leaving their bodies as empty sacks of skin. The Professor discovers that Cobb is one of the Quantum Lichen People, attention parasites that live off their audiences’ life forces. In order to restore their friends the remaining Planet Express must deflate Cobb’s ego, so they set him up against Calculon in the World Acting Championships…
