'Free Will Hunting' by David X. Cohen

After a day in which he joins Colombic University to get in bed with a fembot student, getting expelled, taking a loan from the robot Mafia, falling in with a gang of hoodlum robots and then resorting to prostitution to fund his new-found drug habit, Bender is put on trial. But when he is pronounced not guilty on the basis that he is the victim of his programming, Bender becomes depressed that he has no free will. While on a delivery to the Robot Homeworld, Bender goes off on a soul-searching journey to try and find himself – and ends up joining a monastery for the Order of the Binary Singularity. Will Bender find a way to override his pre-deterministic operation system to become master of his own destiny, or will he remain a monk for the rest of his days…?
