Cornwall, England: one night, a poacher sees a number of white-robed figures burning a wooden cross in the woods near Trennick House, but he suddenly dies when pins are stuck into a doll effigy. Later, while on leave from her work as a Nemesis agent, Sharron arrives in the area to study the local architecture. But shortly after she decides to visit the mysterious Trennick House, Sharron disappears, and when Craig and Richard decide to look for her, they find an impostor staying under the name 'S. Macready' at the hotel. The two agents question Trennick, but he denies all knowledge of Sharron. Intrigued, Craig and Richard investigate and discover that Trennick owns a uranium mine, and is planning on tricking the world's authorities into renewing nuclear testing so that his property will increase in value...
