Jaime is confined to a hospital bed while she undergoes a check-up of her bionic implants. While Jaime is incapacitated, O.S.I. scientist Valerie Breuer agrees to look after Max, the bionic dog; she takes him home, where the canine quickly befriends her nephew, Bobby. However, when Bobby later takes Max out for a walk, foreign agents kidnap him and the animal. Then, when the kidnappers are unable to get near to Max because of his bionic powers, they abduct Valerie and threaten to kill Bobby unless she reveals the dog’s secrets…
