Colonel Tigh and Caprica Six visit sickbay, and are overjoyed at seeing an ultrasound of their baby. Tyrol brings his sick child to Doctor Cottle for treatment, and is shocked to discover that he is not the boy’s father after all. Admiral Adama, Vice President Zarek and Apollo hold a press conference and come under fire over the alliance with the Cylons – and then Apollo lets slip about the identity of the fifth Cylon. The Cylons make Adama an offer to help the fleet find a new, permanent home, proposing to outfit the Colonial ships with superior jump-drive technology in exchange for sanctuary from Cavil and complete acceptance by the humans; while Adama is tempted, not everyone on his command team agrees with him – Gaeta decides to take a stand against the Admiral… Baltar continues to preach to his followers, denouncing God in the wake of the disappointment over Earth. Zarek addresses the Quorum over the Roslin-Adama administration’s failure to lead them to safety, and succeeds in passing a motion to deny the Cylons access to the fleet’s ships. Roslin abandons her medications, and experiences a euphoria that gives her a new lease on her dwindling life. Tyrol confronts Hot Dog, the true father of his son. The crew of a Tillium ship stages an uprising, killing a Cylon and two marines, before jumping away from the fleet. Adama sends Athena and a squad of marines to arrest Zarek, sanctioning the use of deadly force if the Vice President fails to comply…
