'Penguin Sets a Trend' Story Code '9741-Part 2' by Stanford Sherman

Holy Slingshots! The Penguin has strapped Batman and Robin onto a giant catapult; using cameras attached to the Dynamic Duo’s legs, the felonious fowl plans to film them as they are launched across Gotham City. But as the rope holding the catapult burns through, Batman computes their trajectory and then uses the Batmobile's remote control device to arrange for the car to break their fall with a safety net. The two crime fighters return to Penguin's movie studio, but the feathery felon encases them in suits of armour and then immobilises them with a giant electromagnet, leaving them suspended in midair while he leaves to pay a visit to General MacGruder at the Hexagon. Batman manages to loosen a fitting from his suit of armour which he then throws into an open light socket; the circuit overloads and blows a fuse, deactivating the magnet and releasing the Caped Crusader and his trusty chum. As the two armoured heroes race to the Hexagon, the Penguin and his henchmen also don the stolen armour, making them impervious to the soldiers' bullets and allowing them to break into a secret storeroom and steal top-secret plans for a tank…
