Holy Taxation! Having teamed up with Olga, Queen of the Cossacks, Egghead disguises himself as a deliveryman and kidnaps Commissioner Gordon, escaping from Police Headquarters with his hostage in a hot air balloon. Back at their hideout, the diabolical duo issues a ransom, demanding a ten-cent tax on every egg eaten in Gotham City. While Batman and Robin investigate the Bessarovian Embassy, Batgirl and Alfred attempt to track the Commissioner by following the strong scent of his aftershave. The Dynamic Duo meet the Bessarovian ambassador, Omar Orloff, who believes that Olga will steal the giant Samovar of Genghis Khan, currently held at the embassy for safekeeping; the Caped Crusader and his trusty chum decide to lay a trap, and they hide inside the Samovar. As Egghead starts collecting his Egg Tax, beginning with the diners at Gilligan's Restaurant, the Cossack queen and her henchmen break into the embassy and steal the Samovar, unaware of the stowaways secreted inside. When Olga returns to her hideout Batman and Robin jump out, only to be knocked out with gas. Robin and Commissioner Gordon come to and discover that the traitorous Orloff is working for Olga, and is about to turn them into borscht; meanwhile, Batman learns that Olga is entitled to six husbands - Egghead is to be one of them, and the Caped Crusader another…
