Batman Cast

Holy UF.O.s! The Joker’s latest mad scheme is to create a flying saucer scare amongst the citizens of Gotham City; he then plans to construct his own unidentified flying object using plans obtained in prison from his cellmate, a mad scientist, and then use it to take over first Gotham, and then the world. When Commissioner Gordon is swamped by calls from the frightened population he turns to Batman and Robin for help; meanwhile, Verdigris, one of the Clown Prince of Crime’s henchmen, disguises himself as a little green man from Mars and conceals a time-bomb inside the Batmobile, set to detonate at midnight. Unaware of the booby-trap, the Dynamic Duo return to the Batcave to use the Current Criminal Activity Batdisclosure Unit; learning of the Joker’s plan, they determine that he will require a quantity of lightweight metal, and realise that a supply of beryllium stored at the Wayne Foundation Metal Research Wing is a prime target. The Dynamic Duo despatch trusty Alfred to keep watch over it, while they continue their investigations. However, midnight arrives, and the bomb immediately explodes, reducing the Batcave and its contents - including the Dynamic Duo - to rubble. The Joker, Verdigris, Shamrock, Chartreuse, and Emerald break into the Wayne Foundation, mistake Alfred for a scientist and then take him and the beryllium back to their headquarters at the Abandoned Launching Pad Factory on Flying Circus Hill; the Homicidal Harlequin soon spots Batgirl in pursuit, and it is not long before she too is captured. Then the japing jester orders Alfred to work on constructing his flying saucer…
