Blake's 7 Cast

Blake deliberately misleads his crew by informing them that they are going to survey Earth’s defences, when in fact he plans to attack Control Central, the Federation’s main computer complex that is essential to its powerbase. Unknown to the others, Blake has already made contact with Kasabi, an Earth resistance leader. When Blake finally reveals his true plans, the others, despite their doubts, reluctantly agree to help in his scheme, although Avon admits that once Blake has won, he wants the Liberator for himself. Unknown to Blake and his crew, Kasabi and her troops are ambushed by Servalan. Kasabi is captured and subjected to a truth serum, which forces her to reveal the signal she was to use to contact Blake. Blake arrives with Avon, Vila, Gan and Jenna; they receive the signal, but when they arrive at the rendezvous point, find only Vernon, Kasabi’s daughter. When Vernon betrays them and steals their teleport bracelets, Blake insists that they continue with the mission. They manage to overcome the complex security systems, and finally break into Control, only to find it utterly empty - and Travis waiting for them. Travis tells Blake that Control was moved thirty years ago, and that the base they are standing in is only used as a mean to trap rebels. Jenna teleports down and discovers that Vernon only betrayed them because her mother’s life was under threat, but that Servalan killed Kasabi anyway. With Jenna's help Blake and his crew overpower Travis and escape - but Travis has set explosives, and Gan is killed when the roof falls in and crushes him. Blake has suffered his first major defeat…
