Top experts on forestry and timber are being systematically murdered. Steed and Tara investigate the deaths, and find that the villains are two upper-class employees from the firm Wormdoom Ltd., who are murdering their former colleagues from the Institute of Timber Technology with the use of a spray-gun filled with a fungus that instantly rots wood to dust. Not only that, but their boss is plotting to release the fungus across the country, unless he is paid the sum of one thousand million pounds…
