Steed and Mrs. Peel are called in and investigate the activities at the Risely Dale research centre. After both Steed and Mrs. Peel encounter a small blue van and a man in strange, greasy make-up, they discover that the remaining member of the team, Doctor Creswell, is the man responsible for the deaths. Creswell s accomplice, Haworth, is able to carry a huge electrical charge while remaining unharmed thanks to a special insulating compound that covers him. When Cresswell sends Hayworth to capture Mrs. Peel, she ends up covered in silver -foil and charged with 25,000 volts.
