Doctor King, Steed's new assistant, is assigned as her personal physician, while Steed also goes undercover as a steward. Carla is confronted by her husband, the ship's captain, who puts pressure on her her to hand over a stolen microfilm she is carrying, which contains details of the North American early warning system.
