A top agent is found dead in an alleyway, a receipt from an ordinary department store the only clue on his body. He was on the trail of a missing scientist, and in order to investigate the death and track down the boffin, Mrs. Peel works undercover as a store clerk, while Steed poses as an efficiency expert. They soon uncover a plot to destroy London using an atom bomb hidden somewhere in the store. Can Steed and Mrs. Peel find it in time…?
