After Cordelia receives a vision of a Prio Motu Demon, an ancient creature bred to maim and massacre, she, Angel and Wesley set off to find the monster. At a Karaoke bar called Caritas, run by a green-skinned Host named Lorne, Wesley learns from a parasite demon named Merl that the Prio Motu Demon is hiding in L.A.’s underground train tunnels. Angel tracks down the demon, and, believing it to be responsible for kidnapping a pregnant woman, he slays the creature. However, appearances are not all they seem – Angel has killed the woman’s protector, and now it is up to him to become her champion and save her from the Dark Ones that want her and her baby dead...
