After the craft lands on the lunar surface, Commander Koenig leads a team to investigate; they find the ship deserted apart from a friendly but eccentric mobile computer called Brian, who explains that he has been orbiting the nearby Planet D ever since his creator, Captain Michael, and his crew all died in mysterious circumstances while on the surface of the planet. But Koenig s interest soon turns to concern when Brian suddenly kidnaps him and Doctor Russell and takes them to Planet D, where he threatens to kill Helena inside an airlock unless Koenig recovers nuclear fuel from the Swift's mothership. Koenig obeys, but when he boards the mothership he discovers that Brian was himself responsible for the deaths of his crew&

Martin Landau (Commander John Koenig), Barbara Bain (Doctor Helena Russell), Catherine Schell (Maya), Tony Anholt (Tony Verdeschi), John Hug (Bill Fraser), Yasuko Nagazumi (Yasko Nugami), Bernard Cribbins (Voice of Brian / Captain Michael), Marc Zuber (Security Lieutenant), Michael Sharvell-Martin (Brian Robot), Annie Lambert (First Operative)

Directed by Kevin Connor
Produced by Fred Freiberger
Series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson

TX:
UK (ATV Midlands):
October 2nd, 1976

Notes:
*Featuring Commander John Koenig, Doctor Helena Russell, Maya, Tony Verdeschi and Bill Fraser
